A closer look
Most roof leaks in the Western Cape do not occur in the open span of a sheet or tile—they happen at laps, flashings, valley junctions, and aging ridge mortar where movement and wind-driven rain find openings. As a second-generation family firm established in the 1970s, Storm Roofing specializes in difficult leak finding and durable repairs.

Service details
Corrugated roofing sheets can lift or curl at side and end laps without obvious rust. We inspect laps, screws, ridge cappings, and flashings, refastening where needed and applying flexible compatible waterproofing rather than cheap, short-term products.
Ridge and hip ridge tile cracks can admit water into the roof cavity. Treatment includes a reinforced membrane embedded with compatible waterproofing to bridge joints and seal cracks.
Metal valley lining is replaced with proper allowance for expansion to accommodate movement. At roof-to-wall junctions, apron flashing is installed to retard wind-driven rain entry.
Persistent leaks can damage ceilings and roof timbers. Repairs may need to address both the covering and the affected structure below.
